They are also having a contest, if you can beat the level the fastest you win a Monster 3D card and a whole lot of other cool stuff. Actually I'm not even sure if i mentioned this, but VR Games Network is my new gig, so you'll be seeing a bunch of art over there from time to time. I'll eventually add all the pics from there into my art gallery, but for now you'll need to go search for it there. -December 23, 1997- -10:04am- I worked some more on the How-to page today, I'm now 50% done with that. So i'm pretty sure i'll be meeting the Jan 1st date. -9:46am- Wow, for the past three nights i didnt get to sleep till 7:30am in the morning. Uh, not a good idea people. I don't think people were built to do that, so malfunctions occur. Now that my work is done i reckon i should sleep for 72 hours non-stop. Now begins the long process of transfering my stuff from the old to the new. I didn't even have Photoshop installed until this morning. *gasp* -December 17, 1997- -2:57am- Schools OUT! Yeah! No more finals, no more books, no more teachers with those dirty looks. Ah, excuse me while i run amuck. -December 12, 1997- -2:55am- I'm in the middle of final exams now (notice the time, gee, i'm such a good student... yeah right). I'll be done with school on the 16th. Can't wait. -December 9, 1997- -12:21am- Man, big week commin' up. I have a final project and a final exam due within the next seven days. There is a bunch of stuff i have to add to this page, but am keeping offline for a number of reasons. I have at least 3-4 drawings already finished and have another 2 on the way. So here is an announcement: I will be having a RE-grand opening January 1, 1998. On that day this site will be 100% complete, and will begin regular updates in most sections of my site. (there is a slight chance that the Daily Poll thing might not be working by then, but everything else will be up for sure) -December 5, 1997- -9:17am- Well, I was looking through the old commentaries and noticed that almost every week i keep saying "Almost done,..I'm working on it..blah blah blah" about my homepage. And nothing ever gets done (or so it seems). Well, sorry for taking forever to finish anything here, right now i'd normally say "I'll work on it this week." But everytime something else always comes up and i dont get a chance. So whats the point of this message? Well, just to let you know i am trying, and I realize how lame it is that i'm not putting anything new here Finals week is approaching, but after thats over I get a 2 week vacation. This was due to the fact that my server was moving locations, so they had to take the stuff offline for a while. Sorry 'bout that. A few people in the Guestbook wished me a happy 20th, well fact is, i just turned 19. At first i was wondering Why 20? But then i remembered in my About page i said i was 19. The reason i said that is that i put that About page up less than a month ago, and since my birthday was so close, I just put 19. *blush*. (hehe, yeah right!) -november 17, 1997- -10:54pm- Aaah, i finally finished me stuff! I am so relieved, a HUGE load has been taken off my shoulders and i can finally do something else other than work. This person seems to have a problem with me not updating this site every 15 minutes. To our mystery guest: there is this thing called life, which takes priority over me updating my homepage. It reminded me more of Doom than Quake because of the "Military Installation" feel it had. I love the idle animaition for the machine gun, hehe...can anyone else tell what he's doing? (hint: i think he's wearing briefs, not boxers) -12:52pm- well, last night (or real early this morning) i tried out the Quake2 test, and wow, i love the grafix (with a 3dfx card). Its a bit slow on my piece of junk p-90, but still pretty smooth. I love the colored lighting. the levels are very nice, the reload on the shotgun is a bit annoying to me cause it totally gets in the way of what your trying to shoot...a tiny pointless problem that i'm not even gonna let it bother me, cause the rest of the game looks so damn good. I wonder how multiplayer will be with this. Did i say i loved the colored lighting? -3:35am- QUAKE 2 Demo#1 is out!!! I just got home and checked out Blue's and i saw that about 30 minutes ago it was released. Go to Blue's Site for links to a bunch of places you can download it from. The main thing people are asking about now is "how to do...". Once i have my art page up, there will be tips and info on how i did the drawings etc. Another common question is what i use. Also in internet explorer 4.0, this page totally freaks out, I'm gonna fix that soon.
