appreciate the comment. i do agree about the flatness of the rest of the image. i was trying to keep the focus centered on the face and i thought that too much detail may take away from this. |

yes theimage does seem a bit muddy, try lightening the highlights and darkeneing the shadowx a bit more in order to add more constrast to the image. i did a quick overpaint to show what i mean.
