Maybe make sure you can paint that dragon from different (more difficult) angles as well.
Make several thumbnail sketches. Try painting it with different color palettes.

I drew lots of figures and faces that are way to bad to be posted here.
Does anybody have any tips about how to get better at drawing without reference?

Maybe just try to capture the proportions a little more accurately.

Guess the legs in the latest don't look right somehow.
I guess there is some foreshortening going on because the close leg is pointing towards the viewer slightly? ...

I think the only thing that I would change is the top-left corner.
It probably just shouldn't be quite as smudgy as it is.

Not sure if that is the problem ... but the first tag shouldn't be [/img] it should be [img]

It is really hard to say anything. The quality is too low and the images are too small.
