New paths! That's so kickass. I wish i could turn off headshots because it's sad if you're go "wow! ok, now i'm gonna sneak up on those baddies without a sound". So i crouch with a knife for two hours waiting for guards to pass by.. then a camera sees me and i hear "GET HIM!!" *bang bang* *bang*.. hmm *BANG!* headshot - your health is literally fallen to your 'feet'
And next shot.. BANG! You dead, start your mission over again. It's all luck, you have to hop you dont get shot in the head

Hey also Micke or Joachim, in full game are there REAL drivable vehicles or planes or ships or anything? This is perfect engine to put those there! I LOVED VEHICLES IN CODENAME: EAGLE if anybody played that veryy creative game... had a LOT of feel to it.

Dudes, this is very important if you wanna have a more smooth game. Talk to your prog. dudez about this.. I noticed that the player movement in world is too SHARP! Its hard to explain by words, but for example i press FORWARD, and the guy goes forward instantly starting with the same speed as in the middle of the walk. Or when i depress the button, he'll stop instantly. In Quake1 they smoothed this out (even overused) so you had some stopping and starting time. (just a few milliseconds). Right now in IGI try this in the beginning of the level with house. You stand pretty close to it and go forward into it. It's like: "I'm near the house. BANG! I'm near the wall". If you know what i mean.. But thats half the problem.. Second one is harder to fux. The world objects SCALE is a little bit off. For example look on the first world model of UZI that you see after second ladder. Or the boxes. Or check out bullet holes, they're on the contrary really BIG and noticable.

By improving those little (and big) things, it basically makes a much better game and nicer to play for the customer

I think your prog. dudes should listen to the peopl because they played the game since they began working on it so they got used to little things that are too noticable for a real-world gamer.

peace ousside..

I feel better allready, thank yo all for your comments and support. Also i want to say that it is 14 more levels in the game.
Level 14(wich is one of my favorites) just has to be tried out. I know IGI can seem to be hard to play in the beginning, i think it has got to do with the stealth game-play. You really have to be careful and not start shooting away randomly. othervise you can always play on easy

Thanks again!

Micke and Joachim -
I know how you feel. I haven't read any reviews (based on the demo) of IGI just yet, but having feedback like this from the folks at this awesome forum would make up for many bad reviews. I did work on 3 different games which all had very nice reviews but didn't sell very well...(actually the last one had fair reviews and sell very well) The other way round, I guess... What I'm getting at is probably that reviews isn't what its all about... Getting good feedback from people you respect is so much more rewarding than a good review or two... And you guys are getting that by leaps and bounds from what I've just read!

I'm really looking forward to try out the demo myself..

regards and congrats..

Hey hey, I have an idea...

With the two guards in the first room... when you kill one, simply play a sound file that shows he is quaking in fear at seeing his buddy explode onto the soda machine, something like "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Do this unless you'd have to rip the CD's out of the boxes and redo them :P

Hehe... I just had a stupid idea that there should be a "Digital Game Demo" forum on Sijun where people can offer professional advice on game demos that are posted on the forum :P

After 3 and a bit hours of painstaking modem downloading I am happy to say that I really liked it.

what I saw reminds me of goldeneye (yay ). I love the landscapes and open spaces. much nicer than all the confined tunnels etc. you usuialy see.
I don't have a whole lot of time to play games anymore, so I make my choices carefully. igi looks like it will get my wallet open

you guys need to have some unlockable concept art (like in soul calibur on dreamcast). Hehe force me to compleate that next level on hard.
