Craig: What can I say, I really understand what you mean by that, and I can't help but feel a little guilty, even though my work doesn't even come remotely close to yours. Perhaps that comic painting you mentioned might be a good thing to explore... =) best of luck to you Craig, you'll always be an inspiration!
Anthony: Where does that shot come from? It's a real-time shot with FSAA probably using a GeForce... but where is it from? |

Actually that's one of mine I made in Lightwave 3D from Newtek. :] Normally the background would be motion blurred(thus the noticable lack of detail in it), but the car has about 80K polys in it I think. I'd love to run it in realtime. I have a short DivX animation of the car in that scene I can send you if you like Frost.

Where is Dhab with that magical lock thing that will make this thread sink like a stone??
Freddio,
All things are composed of atoms, which if I remember, are roughly spherical. Sorry, could not help it. 99% percent of what you paint can be simplified into the basic forms. This helps you think about how to paint them in an orgaized way. I have found that the simplified form is usually the most interesting, to me. The trick is to figure out what to keep and what to throw away. Your descisions along these lines are a big part of your identity as an artist.
Oh, I listen to just about everything, I esp. like classical and romantic music from about 1790 to 1930. Debussy and Wagner are big favorites.

I have always been amazed at how illustrators are willing to share thier secrets with each other so freely. I attribute every major sucess in my career to other peoples genrosity just as much as to my own hard work. It is a certain faith in this kind of system as a whole that drives me to try to give back to this pool of knowladge. |

How about I just edit my older post instead? I say let it die, because it's about Craig Mullins, and he said he wants it to die. It's a lame thread already, and just keeps coming back. I had posted this message hoping no one would post again. Obviously I thought too highly
