i am just starting to get into this whole digital drawing thing, i've been working on the sijun tutorial and think i have the coloring and shading thing down for now at least, i am having the hardest time getting the base line drawing for my starting point, i have a basic layout but it doesn't look that good, i would appreciate any tutorials that could help me draw better people beter.

i think the best tutorial could be:
draw everything that comes under your eyes as often as possible. |

Tutorials are fine but don't let them rule you. Twenty years from now the difference between "digital" and "traditional" art my not be worth mentioning. Don't worry to much about it now. Listen to your art teacher (if you have one). Look at art from all time periods. It's okay to copy those artists who you admire, for a while. My best adivice is draw from life, look at the light. (But not directly into it.)

Yeah. Tutorials are most useful when trying to accomplish certain effects, but to learn to draw and paint takes time, effort, and at least some talent. GreenPeach gave excellent advice. Art is art, whether it is on a sheet of paper, canvas, or a computer screen. Don't get discouraged; if you really have a passion for art, it is worth the hard work. Just keep at it!

Read every page and practice what it says constantly.
