I think everyone has experienced this atleast once. Where something happens, and you start thinking "Wtf, where the hell have I seen this before?"
I think it's pretty creepy. Could it be that the human mind is capable of seeing into the future? That we may dream about it, but the brain does not pick up the information enough, because it only affects your subconscious?
But you remember it, when it does happen.
Deja Vu's happens to me all the time.
Another thing that was pretty scary, I even had a clear picture of something in my head, hours before it happened, and it all happened in the exact way I had thought about it, same location, same angle, same person, same tone of voice, everything.
*shivers*

Science has already explained those.
I don't remember the explanation very well, but what I remember is that it happens becouse our brain has a timing problem. You receive what is happening through your senses, but your brain analyzes them with the subconscience and then with the conscience, and you feel it has happened before because of that.
Don't know if that made sense
And about the hours thing, that could be reconstructive memory. Some times our memory reconstructs itself according to the present moment. This happens in a variety of situations, and what you are explaining could be one of them
So, after knowing that, I don't think we can see the future, although it would be cool

heh Binke you misunderstanding bum..
You have no memory of something happening untill the moment it is happening and cause your brain is on drugs it has this effect that you THINK you saw it before, but then it goes back to normal in few seconds and you're fine again.
There is no end of the world because world is infinite.

of course you shouldn't put much trust into scientific explanations of such things. especially if they involve neuro-physics
scientists have come up with interesting ways to explain all sorts of freak phenomena such as ball lightning, crop circles etc. and while they might sound plausable enough, the complete lack of real studies on the topics make the explanations nothing more than a guess
explanations for neuro-physical phenomena tend to be a lot worse. most claims in the field are made by arrogant scientists who have trouble accepting the fact that we simply don't yet have an even somewhat decent idea of how the human mind actually works

I'd be far more tempted to put my faith into people who spend their every working day trying to seriously understand how the mind works than people who make up funny stories for things they don't understand.
And I think you discredit them to an extent; they are beginning to get quite a good idea of the overall workings of the brain, if not the gritty details yet.

Remember, next time you think you see a double post.. it might be something else.
Triple posts.. well, they're just someone accidentally posting 3 times.
