Hello!
I'm working on this picture and I'm trying to figure out how the metal on this airplane should reflect light, After I got the metal right I'll add decals and dirt, so please don't comment the "cleanyness" of the aircraft
thanx in advance

I think the light on the right/bottom of the aircraft should be more of a brownish tone. Reflecting from what little light exists on the ground. Also, the main light on the craft from above seems a little too bright to me. Otherwise GREAT image. |

Great!
About the airplane, I think they call it 'stressed skin' when the aluminum skin is stuck (from inside, without visible bolts on the outside), to each rib and rung of the framework. This framework is fairly tightly spaced, like every meter or so, and from glancing angles like this it becomes very obvious, because the skin does a 'dip' for a few millimieters between each frame. So you get a very striated, wrinkly appearance, much more than you might expect on such a supposedly aerodynamic thing...
But a picture says more than a thousand words, you better look for some reference on that. |

I think it would really add some drama if the back emergency door ( I can see is open) had the air slide/ raft hanging out side of it. most likely deflated.
JA
ooh, ooh or some interal debree in the foreground. |

don't get me wrong, capt flush, you are the man, both pics look great, better than i could ever do, but i actually like the first one more. to me it actually looks more photoreal. the plane in the second one, eh you can tell it's a painting. that's what ruled about the first one. those first two seconds, where you're thinking that this is a still frame from a movie you've seen. |

Very nice
I would like to know how technical you were with ther perspective... that can be a tricky shape. It looks good, tho.. although the tail seems a bit odd...or maybe not.. |

It looks like it has been laying there for a while with the dirt by the tail.
The slide looks small.
I think it looks real cool, liked the first one more. |
