Hey everybody, I'v been out of commission for awhile now. I have alot of new things to post, as soon as I get the chance to put together a stable webpage (aside from the crappy geocitites one I got going) but here is something that Shadowman and I decided to do (based on the thing that Micke and Joachim talked about where they gave each other assignments, etc. good idea guys, thanx) this is the first sort of installment of our friendly "draw off" this image started as a critique I gave to Shadowman, where what I was saying didn;'t come across in writing, so I decided to draw it instead.. first one is mine, second one is Shadowman's
comment and critiques very welcomed, and encouraged

General, I am extreamly happy that you got the picks to show up correctly with the help of BNS.
As everyone that tried my post a few weeks ago saw my links did not show up because I was having major probs with my web host.
Now that I know of a good host thing are gonna be different now.
General, I don't remember you mentioning Micke and Joachim. So that's were you got that idea from.
I don't know if you noticed Gen but your axe does not line up and has a break in it. If you don't mind me mentioning.
I guess will will leave the rest of the crite for our many adoring fans on sijun- yea sure! |

I got tired with working on the pic, the axe was hardly even touched actually. I'll finish it up, cause that's all anyone seems to comment on.. have you started on the next one yet???

It seems like there are a few quirks with his anatomy. The left side of his chest seems to be sunken in a bit (either that, or his left shoulder is too far forward.) His hips have a similar problem - they seem to lie on the same plane, when his right hip should be farther back. There also seems to be some strangeness going on in his arm muscles - his left bicep doesn't seem to meet his shoulder corretly, and his right bicep doesn't quite jive with his forearm. Or maybe it's just catching too much light, which is bringing it forward too much.
Anatomy issues aside, it looks good. It's got a nice composition, and you did a great job on the background. Good job on the atmosphere too. |

Welcome back, General!
Very nice images from both of you. Very neat. The only thing I could mention from my side is that the axe is maybe a little bit too reflective - some wear and tear, maybe even a little bit corrosion to break it up would be nice ... and the rope doesn't look fuzzy enough for me - but those are unimportant details, aren't they?
Congrats!
