Enayla, that is wonderful! I even like that it IS androgynous. I adore your sense of light and highlighting, as it's so etheral it commands respect. Would LOVE so see something so magical in real life, but I'm a bit of a romantic, though not hopeless. ;}

Oh, btw. I didn't mention on your other thread, and I apologize for that, but THANK YOU for all your wonderful tutorials. I still to this moment reference that hair tut you did long ago, and the lips one you did is a new favorite of mine. Rest assured, your efforts to help us whack-um-ly challenged is MUCH appreciated.

I just got my whack-um and will be struggling to learn it soon. ;} (did you see my last mouse cg? The Jhenna freelance cop one?)

Either way, I'll be looking forward to seeing this tutorial on the wacom site. ;} Great work as always. And I love your elfwood page. ;}

Oh, never knew Fae was a male fairy. Thanks for clearing it up.

Thanks everyone! I haven't got the time to respond to all the comments because I'm really just online for a few minutes before I head off again.

I do feel the need to point out that for me, "Fae" doesn't mean male fairy. The definitions for fae and fairy in my created fantasy world would be more like:

Fairy: Small creature gifted with wings. Often without any sense of responsibility and most of the time without any understanding of the minds of the "big people". The fairies also have a way of viewing the world that is so alien from humankind that they might sometimes seem little more intelligent than animals. These are the small kind of fairies that often pop up in most old stories.

Fae: A proud, beautiful race of creatures quite similar to the fairies. They populate a city in another plane of existance, the Crystal City. They are slightly smaller than humans and by far more slender and elegant. Ageless creatures, they have a tendency to view the world very differently, and have been known to trick and play with humans as if humans are little more than toys to them.

Which means... the main difference is that the Fae are human sized and live in an actual society, where the fairies are more flittery and playful - they have a tendency to spend centuries just playing around in the woods or examining this or that thing that seems completely useless to humans. Fae and Fairies stem from the same kind (the Elves, too, were originally of the same people)... the Siylon Eimion An’ylleandre.

Anything more I should add... Well, mind you everyone - this is how the Fae and Fairies appear in the world that I have created... that doesn't mean it's true anywhere else.

Cool story. Do you actually have a description of all your characters up somewhere or is that something that you just made up and keep to yourself?

Weeeeeeeeeeeeelll... I have a lot of it written down in Swedish... but most of it is just in my head. I've got an entire world hidden away up there - wish I wasn't too lazy to sit down and write it all down.
