This is about 80% done I suppose. It's called The Darkening Blade. I will put it up on Epilogue when it is done. |

Its very cool... I like most everything but the face.. I think the head needs to be a bit bigger and the face needs to take up more room on the head.. but I really like where thispick is going so far.. great job. |

Hey not bad..
I like it.
The sowrd is really good, and its prbably because you wanted to concentrate on it. Now you need to apply the same level of working attitude to your other areas.
I think the biggest problem, or at leas the first thing I noticed was that the skin looked a bit 'dead' and 'frosty'.. This is because of the initial colour you chose, and because there is little if any hue variation in the skin. You need to inject some life into her skin, so work on areas that would have red blood, and other areas with bluer parts. You should visit...
painting skin tones
That should help you. This promises to be a really nice painting. |

not bad dude!
yeah seems like the keypoint of the picture is sword. The color choice for armour plates is ok and maybe add some gold design? Other things need more work. Try to put some energy or dynamics into the drawing... i've seen very nice sample done by vebjorn (red samurai or something) but forgot the link

looking at the calf muscle and her shin (well, the armor there, atleast) of her left leg, it looks like it's broken. It bends outwards. |
