Here's something I did last week for a contest at Planet Quake:



I started it in Photo-Paint, and finished in Painter. I had planned to add a simple background, but got bored with the piece and decided to move on.

The gun looks REALLY cool. I think there might be a little too much of that green light going on. Great dynamic pose though.

jezebel: d'oh, you're right, I never noticed that. I definitely took some liberties with the rail gun, I was never crazy about id's weapon designs.

That rocks. The lighting is great and so is the detail. I never would've noticed the extra fingers hands since I've never played Quake before. I honestly can't think of anything else except that it wouldn't hurt to clean it up a little.
Anyway, great stuff.
