Yo...This i my latest robot, the design is a little stupid, he kinda looks like a buny rabbit, but I'm kinda happy about it anyway...
Ican't get the gun righ, the perspective i way off on the closest gun...
I was supposedto work more on this robot, but thiswill be enough for now=)

I don't get them either, but I added them for looks, just as you said...I made them so that they openand close to reveal the details inside the guns...very illogical, but it looks more interesting |

congratulations, i thought this was a very good 3d global illumination rendering. The light is perfect and i don't see anything wrong with the perspective either. |

I like the design very much, it really pleases my eyes. The flaps and the red color of their inside really add to the picture.
And its obvious that the flaps are there to increase the surface area for air resistance, so that the mech doesnt tilt backwards when he fires his guns! |

Nice work Capt! The red flaps add that certain touch of mystery What do they do...
They intimidate the opponent for one thing! |

The picture is VERY GOOD... ya, like NullTygre said... first look i also thought "what does a radiosity thingy in here?"... fantastic lightning...
The thing that made clear to me that it's no renderpic are the shadows... They are too blurry... at least a tiny little bit...
Still: Great Picture! |

Great design, I love it. Reminds me a bit of Robotech (which had wonderful mecha designs). The orange flap thingys makes it look aggressive and the legs makes it look powerful and agile.
The blue backlighting seems to be a tad bit strong. It might look better with a darker
background.
Great work! |

Holy shit, I too was fooled. I thought it was a 3d render using Brazil or something. Wow, really dynamic mech design. I think if anything the flaps should open the other way to let the smoke and the inside of the guns breathe better, but that is just a tiny little thing. Great work man, wow had me fooled. |
