Yes, I remember the old one, I really liked that one and this I LOVE. Its marvellous, pure beauty. No crits from me, even if one could probably be picky, I wont. Keep it as it is, its a masterpiece!

I like this one a lot Gordillo.
Though, I think I said this last time as ell, that I think the mountains could have a bit more ineterssting shapes and shadows..create a bit more variaty in the landscape.

Here's three images from a norwegian painter Hans Gude, I think they are a good inspiration for this type of landscape and of what I mean.

I'd agree with Joachim, the main forms seem a bit flat. It kinda looks like the Z element is missing from the 3D equation. Like the depth isn't quite there. Imagine taking the scene as viewed by the camera and then squeezing all the details in the scene until they were 1" deep.

If you can 'bring out' the forms in the pic, then that would be fantastic. I think stuff like Fred's face tutorial and spooge's matte cube tutorial would be a good help, as they cover the depth aspect very well.

Awesome piece, wraps up the Tokien fantasy extremely well. Nice work as ever Gordillo, very inspiring.

very cool pic gordillo

I really like the wizard and mountains. I think the way it has the same value on lighting everywhere is flattening it out tho... Maybe if you just have the strong lighting coming in from the left, dull the left down abit, and add some stronger shadows in there instead.

This is a wonderfull picture, im going to use it as my desktop!

I think the only problem with depth is the mountains and the background/sky. I would love a revised version with a bit more ligthning variance in the mountains and coloring the sky a bit more.

The pic is wonderfull the ay it is, it would be even more wonderfull with some minor improvements.
