I like the clothes, they go well with the style of the rest of the picture. Actually I'd ask you for advice on drawing clothes instead of expecting you to ask anyone .
I like it. Nothing I could critic, except that his right hand seems screwed onto the arm in a really awkward way.

refreshing in it's simplicity + cleanliness, and optimism.

Nice, childrens illustration sorta feel to it. The hand didn't scream out to me as wrong, but that's prolly cos I'm a gangly freak.. when it was pointed out, I figured that it's becuse the hand looks way too big for the wrist (which is almost non existant) on his scrawny arm.

When stetching my hand out as much as possible, the angle between the arm bone and thumb is about 45 degrees, whereas urs is about 90.. hope that helps..

(I don't think that damages the pic at all btw, it doesnt scream out untill pointed out)

[edit]

Looked at it again, the angle isn't the problem, it's the chubbiness at the bottom of the thumb making it look like the angle is 90 degrees

[/edit]

WOW! This is friggin AWSOME!

Anyway, The clothes look fine...although the pants look more like camouflage rather than wrinkles...but the shirt is right on! Maybe you were trying to make the pants camouflage?

Either way, nothing points out as "wrong" in this image. I would have to agree to soften the angle on his arm going into his thumb though.

I also really dig the children's book illustration style of this image.

GREAT JOB! I dig it a lot!

The hand problem is a combination of 1.the rotation of the elbow and 2.the angle of the ligaments coming off the bottom of the rist. The elbo should be slightly rotated to the outside, and the ligament on the rist should angle towards the bicep, not towards the elbo. I didnt even notice this mistake until you pointed it out. I like the feel of the illustration. For wrinkle practice i usually draw wrinkles off of a similar material to that of what im drawing. Your wrinkles are good in that they dont distract your eye from anything else. Sometimes if you spend too much time on wrinkles, it makes you want to look at them, and wrinkles usually arn't the focus of a painting. The focus of your painting is rendered well.

Hi guys, sorry for beeing late...
You are all right about his right wrist ... its definitively not the good position, his entire right arm is not really done in a good way ...

I pay attention to all your comments and I will fix it during the week...

BTW : Robert Ashley : This is not a camouflage pant ! )) just my own hesitating way to simulate clothes

Thanx to all ... see u later

very very nice.
i like his expression a lot! sorry, can't think of any suggestion other thatn what have been said above.

personally, i don't really mind about the palm, perhaps if you move it a little more centered with his wrist, it should be fine. just a humble opinion.

thanks for the warm-hearting pic.

Great Job! Just one crit....He looks as
though he is standing on an invisible
"something".......The art is great.
The "jumping" is "off" just a bit.

I look forward to your next post.
