Looks nice, very realistic. I have two crits: I think the chin is a bit odd. the left side (from our point of view) looks smaller than the right side... Hope you understand what I mean. And I think the nostrils are a little too big.

I'll give you a post!
It's a very nice idea, but as Aloys said before: His right side of the chin is smaller than the other and the ear has lost its depth.. His nose would look better if the shadow just covered on side alt. one modest highlight that runs with the nosebone (Not sure there is a word called "nosebone"... )
But I really like the helmet, the mouth and the clothing! Those bits kick ass! |

mangesan: thx 4 posting! I thought this post was dead until u brought it back to life! like i said before, im tryin to change the chin, which ill be able to do (ive been really busy this past week with midle school and other pieces im workin on) The only problem is that i did this mainly with an h4 pencil so the lead is kinda, whats the word, i guess ill say "burnt" into the paper.
I also dont know how to fix the ear problem. I see exactly what u mean by how its lost its depth but i just cant put my finger on what i have to do inorder to fix it. If u or anyone else have any ideas i'd be happy to hear em.

Hey CW I missed this one earlier.
That dude looks really cool and I also like the 4H pen but I use it very thin, I should also make these cool shadows you have here.
If you want to fix the ear you could make it closer to his right chin. And also, I dontwan to sound to negative or anything but you wanted help with the ear and I hope this helps, the stripe behind his ear should maybe be more straight down because of the gravity.
But these kind of things is tricky, hehe...if he is in motion can actully the stripe look like that. you could make the Stripe longer.
Anyway, I hope something helped.
Nice picture and keep it up, btw I would love to see it colored.

thx matt. that helped alot. i have a pretty good idea as to how i should fix this pic. Unfortuanately, like i said b4, it may be a while before i can fix it cuz i have had a lot o' stuff to do lately, including finishing my next ps piece. And my dad doesnt want me messin with this one cuz he thinks i may ruin it. Anyway, u'll see the fnished in a week max. _________________ -Chase |
