Hello
As you might have seen I have done a lot of experiments with my pictures lately and this picture is made with one of those tecniques.
I could use some feedback so C&C are totally welcome, if you dont like the painting style let me know, I can take critique by now.
Close- ups
Thank you

Hey Matthew. Nice work! You're putting a lot of effort into doing art, and posting it here, so I think you're entitled to some attention If I'm too harsh, just lemme know.
Anatomy - The basic form is OK, but you need to work on weight and balance, and the details of musculature. These combine to give a natural pose, and natural looking form. Study Loomis, and draw from life. Think think think about the shape and weight of the figure as you draw. Draw the basic skeleton(in stick figure at first, but then using Loomis' basic skeleton), then start adding in the muscles, then the clothes on that. Remember that clothing flows from tension points like water. And when something's blowing in the wind, use long, sweeping strokes, graceful and beautiful. His cape is looking somewhat funky :]
Rendering - Its a weird mix, and honestly I don't think it works that well. You must learn to break your objects into lighting planes - sort of as though it were a low polygon game model. As Loomis says, see how angular you can make the round. Review the works of Dean Cornwell for a masterful example of this. Don't leave pencil/ink line marks in if you don't have to-it tends to look scribbly.
Color/Value - I like the background colors a lot. Reminds me of acrylic paint. Good texture too. The figure is a little weird in places, mostly his skin tone which is too orange/yellow.
Lighting - Right now it looks like early evening in the background, and a spotlight on him in the forground. Try to visualize the image in your mind - think of the time of day it is, think of someone standing in front of you during that time of day. How's he lit? What tones and values?
Again, good work, and you're improving a lot. Keep pushing, we're all learning! _________________ -Anthony

I think you you might want to think about the hues and colors of the clothes a little more and/or the hieght of the vanishing point. Just a suggestion, nothing to serious.

anthony sad it all.
when you paint your next try to paint more with sharp brushes to avoid the blured look.

Hey, Sorry for the late answer I couldnt connect to the Sijun Forum yesterday.
Bob - Thank you, yea the nose went a bit too big and to ugly too for that matter....hehe
Anthony - Some very good tips there, I usually get the muscles down on my drawings but when it comes to painting I find myself lost sometimes, Its more practice needed. Yea the skin tone is too orange, once again great comments and critique they were not too harsch. Thank you.
151rum - yea I will try to do so to the next time, thank you.
Iliy Zilberter - yep he did, thank you.
William Willette - I dont do 3d anymore, I think I wrote that on my site. As for any 3d, I didnt save any of the old works and that is something I have got angry about now, maan, I should have saved some of those old cars and stuff....anyway, I have my 2d-art now so thats cool. Thank you
merlyns - Thank you merlyns, yeah you are right there about the blurry stuff, I have tried to find a middle way cause I dont want the paintings too sharp either but this one is too blurry instead....hehe.
Max Kulich - Thank you, yea sometimes the painting turns out better but I still have a long way to go.
Ok once again thank you for the comments everyone.
The Comments n Critiques will help us all to become Master Painters.
