now that things might be settling down around here, i should start posting more and get back into my oil paintings. -twitch- been back and forth between ny and florida and trying to find a job and not finding one.. hrr.

i like the first one alot. The contrast is great and the colors work very well. and i must say that tree in the second one is pretty rad. the color is so great.

You definitely deserve more replies than this. The first one is just great. Love the light, airy wispiness of it. The second is good, although a little tough to follow. The foreground figures look a little cramped and messy, but the tree looks awesome.

Hmm.. I forgot to put in a note that th second one is more of a 'sketch' for me to remember the image. Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have somewhere that I can stuff that onto canvas because that's what I intended it to...

I suppose they're messy cause I cared more about the tree and their dresses are all crosshatched to show it's a woven pattern. It's a bad habit of mine, bother more about the landscape then the figures, and i'm trying to work on it.
