This is a deliberately low-poly scene I created (in Studio Max) for a company making a 'horror' game, who wanted to see evidence of my texturing ability:
The only textures I didn't create entirely from scratch are the broken windows; for them I took a free texture and tweaked it. All of the textures are at a sensible 'in-game' resolution.
I kept the lighting brighter than you'd expect for a horror scene, but this is to keep the texture details visible.
What do you think of it?

The first thing I thought was that it looked like a room from Silent Hill 2. Good work! I think maybe the big box needs something done to it. _________________ "So...remember, whenya put down one mutha, you puttun down muthas all ovah da worhl." - Mr. T |

Thanks for all the positive comments folks! I'm glad Resi and Silent Hill were both mentioned, as obviously they set the graphical standard for these type of games.
Basically if I can get somewhere near that standard, I should be in with a chance to prove myself to the games company I am currently hassling, heh
I see what you mean about the box, Herb, the texturing looks a little too obvious compared to the rest of the room.
Thanks folks!
