ref meaning... I drew from reference. I sketched a photo. No manip/trace/colorsampling. And yours is amazing.
drawn from photo, PS7, about 15m each.

Damn, this thread rocks. Awesome stuff EVERYONE!!!
- Yeah, yeah, sometimes I just can't stop painting
erix138: Did you mean mine? well, thanks!
M. C. Barrett: great light, I really like this
spooge: now I am in love with this tree - So beautiful!!!
Matthew: same problem here, It's hard to paint mountains without using detail, hmm...with detail it's even harder,...argg confusing - I screwed them up in this pice anyway....great image
oDD: Nice one, really like those texture brushes you used! |

ok I will bite. Maybe sports prints would sell well. Volume is where it's at.
Matthew, post the ref pics, it's good to see what you did with the source.

Spooge, bottom of the page? I'll take a closer look at every of your paintings even if you only post 'em at the end of the world - upon my Sam!
Especially such great landscapes.
M.C.Barrett, i seem to be one of those people!
Edit: Matthew, didnt see your picture yesterday as i posted this.
Wow, i think this iy the first time im really surprised in a positive way about your loose brushstrokes.

Thanks, duracel, I am glad someone saw them.
I am figuring out a few things about painter. Not many, but a few. I gotta force myself to use it.

I think I will post these in two messages, because I know Matthew has things to do today.
after Probustion's. I assume he did it from a photo, so the the photographer will sue us both. I like to try the ACCD marker/chalk technique in PS every once in a while to see how it translates.
