How can I reset the smudge tool to some sort of default settings?
It seems to lay down a burst of foreground color at the beginning of the stroke (did it always do this and I never noticed?)
It also lays down a bunch o' dots instead of a stroke (what do I need to turn up in the brush definitions?)
thanks |

I assume this is in Photoshop 7 or later.
1. Uncheck the "Finger Painting" box on the context bar at the top.
2. The smudge brush works with brush dynamics just like a paintbrush. Check the brush settings to see if you have scattering checked. If you do, turn it off. _________________ QED, sort of. |
