Seth1 - Thank you
Stewart one - very nice indeed
Drunken Monkey - Strange but good
Capt. Fred - I admire the values and colour even if you didn't end up with something personally satisfying!

ebr/socar: yeah thats one big stupid helmet : D ..nice though ebr =)
cap.fred: too bad u didnt nail your idea.. awell.. still looks great...
ure right about that duracel.. i try not to focus too much if the pictures i do looks presentable or not.. right now i feel its more important to focus on the information in the painting instead.. blahobviousshit... u gotta paint bad to improve =) .. lady of yours ze looking very fine btw.
...kk aarrite i admit i put a little bit of make-up on these fellas -_-

Everybody has been doing good lately. Thumbs up for that!
Rant to post.
I'm been thinking about this whole speedpainting thing and I've come to some conclusions. It's not working for me. Doing things quickly makes me do the same shit all over again. I know it's more about brush economy than rushing but.. it's so easy to learn bad habits with my background of zero art education. I'll go hiding from this day, only finished works if I ever feel I got something good enough to make posting worthwhile.
Me and my brother Freebooter are now building a collaborative website and our aim is to produce things we can actually show to possible clients some day. More on that subject in the coming months..
A work-in-progress painting, design and original drawing by Freebooter.

Hey Mikko,
what you said is very true. I've been away from the computer for half a year where I was forced to draw more from life. I feel I've advanced
so much more than I would had I only drawn on the computer or from my imagination.
I often tend to focus on making my speedpaintings look attractive instead
of trying to solve the drawing problems involved. It really enforces the bad habits.
Good luck with your project, still love that grey samurai on your site.
eeh, to prove my point,
