one more ugly drawing for the hell of it and to support this thread.

Seems like every draw session ends up with me having led all over the place and in me face, is it the same for you guys?

I do so hate drawing buildings. Seriously unfinished:

I guess the A5 sketchbook is a hindrance too.

I like these threads, sijun is mostly about painting.. not that i dont like the paintings of course

Matthew, great progress in all of your work..enjoying the speedies especially.. by the way, remember Valhallah? Smile
Llama, sweet!
Mitsui, I like your use of line width.
the_insider, well, I'm glad you decided to fight with that pencil again, looks great.

some drawings from my sketchbook, which i recently picked up again from a veery long break. I'll try to post more often, but not crap like this.. need to loosen up and draw from life:

angry dude from ref:

caravaggio study at the right, subway sketch at the left

from ref, but trying to feel the 3d form..

hope I'm not destroying the thread.

notic, that rings a bell but I can't put my finger on it, was it a game project? or wait hmm the irc? thank you for your comment. Smile

a quick wash, need to experiment more with this tecnique. Those 18th century guys knew what they were doing for sure.

Guys ... great stuff!

Pretty much without ref ... but after making some studies.
Not finished ... guess I don't really want to finish it because the lion is already messed up beyond repair.

Mitsui: I like the lady in the middle and the one to the left of her with the hat.
Max: that Bouguereau study reminds me of Ingres's style.

I take a pad of POST-ITS with me when the sketchbook isn't appropriate.
Weird? Yeah...but, the chicks stay entertained. Attached the sword I used too.

...so, when the POST-ITS and the sketchbook aren't around, what do you use then?

YOUR MEMORY.

I saw these two dudes running yesterday. Just got around to drawing 'em for lunch. They had me cracking up.
