Nice work peeps.
Argh, this one is so shitty in so many ways (scale problems etc)... If I ever do a book when I grow up, it's gonna be titled "Painting: the half assed approach"..

Mikko: that's awesome. I don't see much problem with the scale (unless you wanted the arches to be bigger).
Argh... Too dark.

Hello guys, just one question:
do the darkest areas in my pic above go to black (or very close) on your screen?
My gamma settings may be screwed, that's why I'm asking. Thanks. |

Mikko: On my screen, they are nearly black (perhaps 9 on a scale of 1-10).
Seth1: your level just keeps going up. My improve verrrry slowly.
Sorry for the spam, but I'm trying to make the most of my weekend. Bad habits die hard..

the only 100% black is on the left side. Parts of the tree nearest to the wall seem to be black.
I can even see some texture on the lower left and on the sculpture on the right, too. |

Misc: nice one! i like the moon-like atmoshpere
farvus: try increasing the atmospheric perspective in the cave mouth/entrance by using a lighter tone or that bright yellow hue we see in the foreground |

Nice work all.
Omi - that reminds me of metalgear :p).
felfish - interesting perspective
That last one is nice luc.
More of my crapness. I was actively thinking about the values but I need some advice on how to go about detailing my stuff (and some advice on values ).
