Mikko K: I love the incubator, it's monumental :)
This is the test of the custom brush technique, the dragon is created by copiing and modifiing the shape in left top corner. Please let me know your opinion and feel free to overpaint Thanks.

hey everyone cool stuff going on!
visual muriad- those last sketchesare really cool man. especiall the last of the three. nice lighting and mood.
sup ben- thats really nice texturing there. Is that done in painter or what?
Also just for fun- the name sup ben? whats the sup stand for?
Mikko k-
that last one was fantastic. lovely texture work. It has a great sence of scale to it aswell. And a nice adventurous feel to it. Inspiring!
Keep it up everyone!
heres a portrait i did from ref. Its so incredibly hard to get the proportions of the face right. but im learning more and more.

Stewart one, annisahmad, thanks a lot.
It's mostly a PS. I use lately Painter only for sketching.
Stewart one, the "sup" actually origins from times when I actively played games, so it's just a prefix nickname to differ from "ben" that was already here as I registered at sijun 5 years ago. I guess it's like "one" in yours.

hideyoshi> as i said on DA, nice work
quick master study.
another self portrait. trying to push the color palette to extreme/weird colors. i was tryign to get a very vibrant look... but i think this came out more demonic then intended. i wanted to use bright reds, pinks, greens, blues... etc. but didnt work out too well.

Thanks peeps!
Skurai: Few tips come to mind. Use a hue/sat adjustment layer on top of your pic, and test it every once in a while if the shape reads as grayscale values. Use overlayers to find interesting accidents and paint opaquely on top where needed. Random photo surfaces can help at times, but beware of letting them dictate your painting.
Happy New Year to everybody - keep rocking to 07!
