thanks Wasssup-fans. Are you a kind of club ?
I like how you achieve the -sort of- "old stock film look" in your last Samson, is there some kind of scanned or photo material involved in the process ?

I agree with that randis guy, this forum has become really dead.
I think I know some things that could make it alive again but I don't really care anymore, everything I tried to do way back was ignored.

well, sijun for me is the speedpainting thread, and that alone holds so much more than a lot of what other sites have to offer, and the level of speedies here are also far better than any other I know. also knowing what great people sticks around sort of like a bunch of friends in a way, is making the site the first I ever go to each morning.. _________________ homepage:blog |

ohh I am not teacher material but
some of you guys have asked me about the experiments
I do, no grandma tricks really.
this will be quick, first you have a picture, an ugly one like this one beneath
then u duplicate and flip the layer vertically, flatten btw here I sat the layer to difference mode, hence the blue came out
here I added a glazing, orange and the set the layer to hue, I love orange and blue so most of my pictures stays that way
here I duplicated the layer again twisted horizontally and can't remember the layer mode, hm maybe it was lighten or darken or something?
here I kept experiment with it duplicating another layer flipped horizontally if I remember correctly and duplicated another layer twisted it maybe 40 degrees or something. and yes here I tried to find something like the two pillars and then selected them and made the ground with just adjusting the bright and contrast, lowered the contrast a lot. and then added shadow.
Experiment with this guys and post in here if you want, not my patent, texture artists do this alot. If you have a table pen u can also keep refining and stuff, since I do not I just keep this stuff as experiment.
so keep flipping the layers back and forth and stuff happens I did it with some photos aswell, however if you wanna improve your painting tecnique this is not to recommended, this just quick tricks. oh well there you have it hehe. |

thank you jabo, keep em coming
tai kek, thank you and welcome to sijun
oh maan I shouldn't have had that second cup of coffee, talk about getting jagged up.
Anyway, here's how you can corporate perspective into the texture and such, even if you start from the flat statement u can build it into 3d.
mine pretty crappy here though, I'm sure u guys know I am such an abstract succker.
If anyone can write me a tutorial about life I would appreciate it, I really need a life makeover haha.
gotta go |
