Screw cola. Gormet french vanilla cappuccino. And again, tea tea TEA!!!
Vanilla Coke tastes exactly like regular Coke to me. It's like deciphering between Mr. Pibb and Pibb X-tra. |

Bleh. I hate the aftertaste.
Personally, I'll drink anything (like just 'bout everything everyone's said thus far), and I've had (often) Kahlua mixed with milk. Mmmm...you can see where my life's going. |

Torstein:
I don't remember deleting any of your threads, but if it was just a thread about whinging it might have been something I deleted. The Gallery certainly wasn't the right forum for it anyway. |

Firstly, as the thread was deleted, I apologise to Norstein and to the author of the original thread.
Not because I don't believe the picture was a paintover (I'm still curious, especially now the thread is gone), but it was ridiculous of me to blow my top off like that. Perhaps even my first use of the "f" word in a Sijun posting. Something had pissed me off mightily (which I have explained to Norstein, no-one else's business) and I went into super sarcastic idiot mode.
1) I am still suspicous of the painting. Why do I care? Because if it's a painting, so be it. If it's not, it's taking the mickey out of people who come here to critique what they believe is a painting.
2) Having viewed the forums for a while, pixelsoldier and roundeye's comments should be taken for what they are. Delivered in such a way that is harsh and yet amusing (to me, anyway). I think both their points were valid (even if it was real, that it was uninspired was an honest critique), though perhaps a more diplomatic way of phrasing it might have been better. Though dimplomacy doesn't make good theatre on a forum.
Anyway, familiarity breeds contempt and it's easy to poke fun at some of the newer members without realising that theirs is a genuine attempt to be recognised and take part in the community here.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to enjoy a nice Jack D ... and maybe have some whisky too, who knows! |

Pixel, man, shut-the-fuck-up-for-once-in-your-life :]
Honestly, it seems to be that every flame i've seen on sijun recently has to involve you in some significant way. You act very high and mighty sometimes, an attitude which can only cause more problems once it collides with all the other egos in this jungle. You OBVIOUSLY have the greatest of intentions, but sometimes the best answer is just no answer at all.
Flats work doesnt fall into your definition of 'cool'. That's fine. What's not fine is that you think your definition of 'cool' is more important that everyone elses. That is annoying. You are annoying, pixel. |

Pepsi Max: "No Sugar, MAXimum Taste"
Pixel: Truce? Why you... okey then
*shaking hands*
Suma: It turned into a quarrel, so I'd understand it if it were moved, with the usual "moved" notice. Nevertheless, the words are here now, so think no more of it.

Sumaleth- it wasn't his thread, unless he is using an alias. he ws just all worked up defending someone who did a blatant paintover and who lied about the source. roundeye pointed it out and he started crying about how mean everyone who works hard on their art is when someone comes in and lies and takes credit for things they didn't do. |

It's real easy to type, isn't it?
I really sound dumb, don't I... "...started crying about how mean everyone who works hard on their art is when someone comes in and lies and takes credit for things they didn't do."
That is perhaps your interpretation, though it definitely was not my objective in responding. I have elaborated some on this further up this thread, hope you take the time to read through it, Vesuvius. |

Flat... now you listen to me, you misguided fella!
There is no such thing as maxi coke.
It's Pepsi Max, the finest internal moisturizer there is.
And no, don't take notes on that one |

Whatthefuckever dammit. I remember I once tried a can of "Crystal Cola" or something like that, it looked like mineral water and was supposed to taste like Cola. Actually, the taste equaled rather a cup of sweet toilet water spiced up with half-decayed organic matter than coke. That was the day I swore to myself I wouldn't give that funky special coke shit ever, ever again a try. |

Flat: "Tab Clear"?
If so, my bro's still got 4 cans of the stuff rusting away in a cupboard... no, I don't know why he keeps them. Maybe they're "magic" cans of clear cola or something. |

Flat, actually that's "Crystal Pepsi"... I guess we europeans have our own weird variants. For those not in the know, it supposedly tasted like regular Pepsi, but had no colour to it, just see-through. When the brownblack colour went though, that cola taste virtually dropped out as well, strangely enough. Really tells us how much our senses are affected by our expectations. 'Cause the taste should physically be equal to the coloured variant.

Ceenda, maybe tab clear ripens with age. Cant get anyworse than it was, foul stuff. Those old cans might worth something in 100 years though. |

Jones Soda can easily beat any product made by coke or pepsi, as it actually has a taste, and isn't just a mix of assorted chemicals. I drink coke and pepsi and stuff, but Jones soda is much betah!

I garentue that if its not the tastiest soft drink* you've ever had, you'd be extremly fucked.
(not including italian sodas) |
