Hey,I just realized why noone is responding to my pics. Is it because, digitalart tallies votes by amount of times a pic is hit? I am truely sorry, but I didn't realize that. I honestly want some critiques of my work. I don't have my own host right now to post things through, I got some replies before by some members who offered to post my pics. Are you guys still out there???
And again sorry bout the voting thing, wasn't my intention!!!!!!! |

If you need space to put your work on then sign up for the hated geocities! (www.geocities.com) it's not perfect but it's quick & easy and doesn't cost anything!

Well, I like your "junk", especially the first one (though I don't think it belongs in the abstract category really ). Looks like a transport system on an alien planet, I like the colors and shading on the tubes a lot, works well with the purple sky too. It's maybe the red surface on the foreground that looks a bit artificial here, otherwise I think it's just lovely.

Thanks guys for the response.
Ned - I'm looking into eccentrix free site hosting, have you heard anything about that??
sfr - when I did those drawings I had no intentions as to what I would end up with, however it's pretty interesting to hear your spin on it. I kind of say to people that it's a bizarre anatomy, meaning the main column is a spine the tubes could be arms, and the foreground red is a tongue. go figure...... |

General Confusion: I think your work is great. I'm not a great fan of abstract art (if that's what you want to call it) but the first one really appealed to me. Reminds me of tapeworm. And NO! I do not have tape worm. Just the image that came to mind.
I like your use of colour by the way.
Question: How old are you?
Question2: For how long have you been doing CGI for? The work is very promising.

Thanks for the comments, and Glieb, sorry about the speculation, but because I received no comments I figured the clever souls who frequent this forum had a reason for not critiquing. I go on record for my uninformed comments.
I'm 28 Eudoxus, and I have been working as a digital illustrator for 9 years now, for varying commissions. Right now I'm employed on staff at a prominent package design company. |
