Hey. I'd love for you guys to look at these pics and tell me what's goin right, what's going wrong. First up:
This guy is actually holding a rope on an airship...as you see I was influenced by final fantasy...or i hope u can see.
Fairy girl.

hiya
otherwise i definitely like them, but the pose of the upper one seems a bit too 'upright' to me.. lemme see..
the red line down from the spot he's holding to should pass close to his center of gravity..
EDIT: actually now that i look at it, his hand is closer to the center above his head than i first thought, it aint that bad after all..
eetu.

hi superbug, I can see you have potiential, ideas look good.
I would advice you to take some lifedrawing classes to get the anatomy and compostion right, its incredible how much it helps, good luck

EEtu: Thanks man. Yeah, I was kinda thinking too that he looks a bit stiff, but once I complete it, I guess he could be on a the inside of an airship or inner part, so I guess the pull won't effect him so much, as if he were standing on, i dunno, the long pointy end.
Eorand: Yupppers, i see it now. He looks like a munster. I think i'll round the forhead more. thanks
Kimzoll: Actuall for the first picture, I used my bro's anatomy book for proportions and junk of the body. Of course, the second one was me just following my pencil |
