I really like it. Nice and clean, easy to read. I'm glad you posted it.
I'm anxiously awaiting the colored version.
Thanks for the info you gave in my spiderman thread. Very helpful.

hehe.. that rocks Francis. Looks like the front girl is wearing a holster? I don't see any weapons lying around though? Or where are the blue prints to the chapel hiding the base they are about to break into? hint hint

I like it Francis, a colored version will rock. But, I feel that the girls are quite "simplistic" opposite to the place. Maybe when shading this will change?
I thought I should try to contribute... |

That's cool, Francis. Can't wait to see the painted version. One thing that interests me is the signature architect wavy lines. It stands out to me, because it's so different from the standard. |

Cool, lot's of neat little goodies to find in this image...had fun trying to find most of them. The link between spooge and rust I found humorous knowing what most of his work looks like. Can't wait to see the painted version. The only crit I'd wanna give is that the girl in the foreground has better shoulders than I do! I mean, she must be hitting the Shrugs everyday at the gym. Judging from past works this seems to be part of your style, though, so I guess it's not much of a critique but a difference in opinion. In any case, a decent painting will enhance this room's already great atmosphere. Like I said, can't wait for the paint.

P.S. What's that book onthe back shelf next to the cat say...I can't quite make it out. |

Mr. Tsai, that looks good! Hmm, you're pretty quick aren't you? That's going to be a toughy to color, so many details, little stickers and logos ( nice job and thanks =) ).
Have great holidays mate. Don't work too hard. =)

Great job Francis! Nice to see that the sense of humor this forum has has not withered in light of recent events. I laughed out loud several times as I walked through this. Particularly at A.Buttle, Spooge, and the crash test dummy. But what's this? Only a sticker for anticz? No crutches or cast?
I can't wait to see this finished. Anything going in the lower right corner?
Happy Holidays everyone |

Maybe I shouldn't post this here. But anticz, when are you going to make the follow up to the head modeling tutorial part 1? It was done like 4 month ago, and it still says more coming soon.
Btw. very nice pic Francis
As for crits I think you already are aware of even more than I can spot. But the chest on the front girl seems to dissapear, I guess she has big breasts but at the bottle and than "something" racing tube kind of thingy her breast looks flat.
But as I said, you probably already knew this

Zaphod,
Sorry, but I've been extremely busy trying to finish up Myst3. Still have a ton to do. Lots of long hours. I'd probably be lynched if someone here caught me working on a tut for my site considering how hard everyone is working here right now. I promise as soon as some of my time frees up I'll be updating my site with the rest of the head tutorial and maybe even a few surprises. Hope you can hang on a little while longer.

Frost, believe me... I had to twist my head sideways and concentrate REALLY hard before it materialized :-) The Southern Comfort I am drinking probably helped a little too!

I am in the process of painting this, but read Chapel's thread and was inspired to post this version, warts and all. Lotta perspective errors, lotta anatomy crappies. It was also an experiment in learning to ink my rough pencils, so it's not really what I was hoping for.
Anyway, there are a few little forum-specific details hidden here and there. If you don't find yourself in there, please don't feel alienated. I'm pretty sure this will continue in my future stuff.
P.S. I will post the painted version after the holidays.
