Heya...
I have an image with a gradient in the background, going from dark blue to very dark blue.
Color banding is very noticeable on it. The image is 32 bit. Blurring the image does very little to help. I'm guessing I've just run out of colors in the 32 bit pallette.
Is there anything I can do about this? It's not like I can switch my display to 64 bit. (Hmmm - incidentally - are there any professional setups which run in 64 bit?) |

Add some (monochrome) noise to it, just enough to be hardly noticeable should do it. |

When you make the grad, make sure the Dither box is checked on the gradiant palette as well. That can help too.
