Well, since I could not figure out how to change the brush size by shortcut in PS5.5, I have decided to use PS 7 from now on.

But with what PAINTBRUSH setting do I have the same brushes as in PS 5.5, get the same results?

I used to use pressure sensitivity for the opacity of the paintbrush.

Is the following configuration right?

Other Dynamics On:
Opacity Jitter = 0% and Pen Pressure

Sounds about right.

Does anybody use pen pressure for the size of brush, instead of opacity? I can't imagine why they left that as the default...

I don't! This "$$"$" default configuration bothers me every time I am creating or using a brush.

Instead of setting "Other Dynamics" only as default, they have chosen the most annoying one. Argh!

[UPDATE]
Due to the fact that I can not change my brush size by shortcut in PS 5.5 and that there are these annoying default settings for brushes and the high memory use of PS 7, I have switched back to PS 6.01.
