Can anyone tell me the shortcut for increasing and decreasing the brush size in photoshop 7. I have looked around, and searched, but I can't fugure it out. I live in Scandinavia, and it might be different from other countries, because off the keyboard.

Anyone who knows it?

On the US keyboard, press the "]" to increase brush size and "[" to decrease. They are the two keys just to the right of the "P" key.

You've probably already done all this but have you checked Help> Contents > Shortcuts? There might be something there. Or are you using an English version of Photoshop with a Scandinavian keyboard? If you are then you could always check the Adobe web site.

Well... there's always trial and error. Have you watched the brush size while you systematically tap each key on your keyboard?

Is the position the same? [ and ] are located on the forth row of keys up way over the right beside Enter (on the main section).

Every key is tapped... and it is not the key's on the same position. This is wierd. Is there some kind of shortcut settings? So I can set it to use two other keys instead.?

I have the "internat.exe" running in the systray, showing if the current application is using a Swedish or English keyboard layout (under Win2k it's activated in the Control Panel -> Keyboard Properties -> Input Locales, add another layout and select a hotkey to toggle between them).

I just tap shift+ctrl when PS is started to goto English input... not only is the brush size available on (for me) "" and the key next to it, the same position as "[" and "]" on an Eng/US-keyboard, but "+" and "-" are next to each other as well for zooming w/ ctrl (not the case on a Swe-kb) and so on. You'll soon learn it.
