This is really cool. I like how it starts off like a tree at the base, but kind of morphs into the machine. It's nifty. I like surrealism.  |

thanks guys. for those who want to know...yes i did use mirai.
the tree is only subdivided once in this pic. but when i do the final render it will be subdivided at level 2. |

I like! Be sure to add some more detail to the rocl before finishing--at some point the roots have to go IN to the rock to hang.
I would LOVE to see a render! |

me too but it shouldnt look like it when the texthres are done...actually...im usually more influenced by the final fantasy stuff more than myst...but either works
as for the rendering that everyone is asking for...in due time..what you see in the picture is far from being finished. ( thank god i got someone else to texture it for me.....by the time im done modelling it i wont be able to look at it no more  |

i played a little with light...this is by no means final....just playing around to see what i can do.
and seeying which colour schemes will work.
also..i did some post on it in photoshop.( bloom effect...lensflares...and i took a sky picture and placed it behind the pic.)
