Hello everyone. This is my first time posting at this board, and I just wanted to see if I could get any input on one of my drawings. Thanks for taking the time to look at my drawing. (You have to copy the URL into your browser...stupid Geocities!!)

PS: I kinda screwed myself by not painting the background first, so Im still debating on if it is worth taking the time to try and paint one in around the figure.

We'll see if this works. I like your idea of starting with a background other than white. One suggestion may be to start with a more neutral color, like grey. That way you can build up a drawing with both lights and dark shades. I know it's not a critique of what you're posting about, but seeing some of the other stuff I thought I'd mention it.
Anyway, try this link... Click Me

if you want to keep what you have, make a newlayer and paint your background on it then mask out the parts of the background you don't want so the figure shows through |

I like the picture but you definitely need a background other than plain white! As far as I know white background don't allow you to see all the colors as they are, and it disturbs me because of light highlights which don't act. _________________ Due the lack of interest tomorrow will be canceled. |
