When the forum opened back up I made a post of some of the work that I did over the break. It was a link called "wolves, horses & fish" or something like that.
To my distress only one person replyed to my link. When I first sign on to Sijun I used to get at least 7-10 comments and I know that my current work is better then my old stuf.
I know that maybee I am not like some artist devine or something like that but I put a lot of work into that stuff! People from other art sites liked it!
I'm just wondering if maybee the work is lacking something? Or maybee I offended some people here with some comments that I left from there work. I'm just wondering if any of you ever felt like this or is it just me?
Maybee I'm being to tempermental and one comment is all I deseve or someting like that.

Wow I took a look.. your work is awesome, and far above average.
Getting posts, and crits about your work is a very weird and wonderful topic in itself.
In my opinion, the posts which get the most replies are those which contain artwork which is either rather poor or absolutely stunning.
Work which sits in the middle of the spectrum, generally doesnt generate many replies.
But whenever you see a post, where no one has replied, be sure to break the routine and give em a comment or two..
You can't expect to recieve comments if you dont dish out comments to similar threads (not saying that you dont though  )
If I see a post which is just about to leave the main page of a forum with no replies, I will almost always reply to it.. I encourage you to all do the same..
anyway. gotta get some sleep

I try to reply to all the 0-1 reply threads that I see.. but sometimes there's just so many of them that I come back later on and all the first posts are already back a page..

Don't take it personally...it's not like getting replies translates exactly into how good of an artist you are....
