Very nice! Only crit that comes to mind for now is the legs. When I look how the folds go over legs they look a little flat, like amputated. The thighs should be elevated a little more I think.

i don't remember if i have commented this new style of yours, but i have been enjoying this charcoal stuff very much! keep it up.
(ok, gotta agree with rhomb about the legs, that's quite difficult angle to get right without ref)

charming little girl Boomstick Yeah, I like you charcoal stuff too.
Only thing I miss a bit is some more clear separation between light and shadow...I mean, it could look very nice if you made some harder edges to shadow and not so smoothly inbetweens. Hmm, don't know if you see what I mean. But, great work anyway |

Nice as always... As I've said before, I really dig your b/w work!
My only crit would be to cut away the top 1/4 - 1/3 of the hair, this would give a more realistic head shape... I think...
It has a quite weird/impossible angle,
I can't upload a visual representation of what I mean... but I hope you get my point?
EDIT: Try placing a thumb on the top of the head and check it out.... better?
Cheers, Ko

Rhomb - yes, I did struggle to get the knees look right. Damn hard. Must try harder!
Janne - thx. yeah, same goes - will try harder!
Joachm - thx. I see what you mean. Its a fine line between to much contrast and too little when doing very modelled stuff like this.
Bizarde - thx. I guess its just you I'm not really certain what you mean. Maybe you could clearyfi abit more???
Ko - I see what youre getting at. I just wanted to give her some very wild hair but maybe I went a bit too far?

Cool pic. I like how it looks more detailed than it really is. I think her wings look a bit coarse or thick or whatever, but maybe that's why she's sad?
Gettin' betta! |
