So why's it called sandstorm again? For some reason. I think you actaully portrayed the environment very well. Looking at the corner with the sun actually hurts my eyes (its either that or im just going crazy) kinda like in a real desert Very cool.

nice. when i saw it first i didn't see how good it was. i like the detail on the grass and the shadow of the flower. might i suggest that the dune in the foreground be slightly more illuminated by the sun than those in the backround to seperate it more from them. cool, even without the lens flare i suggested.

thanks for all the comments guys. i was going for simplicity, didnt want to much clutter becuase it would just take away from the whole meaning. im happy that i didnt go the easy way and throw in a lense flare tho, it would just kill it. oh, and the reason it is called sandstorm, is becuase i was listening to sandstorm, by darude, so it just fit.

well, i used painter for the sky and ps for the dunes and the grass.
