I don't think the pose is very realistic. If she was going to sit like that, there would probably be a curve in her back, and/or her neck would be bent a little.
The straight on angle of the character is boring, a 3/4 angle, or a twist in the hips/back would be much more interesting. |

It looks like you're going for a manga feel here (I believe you mentioned you were in the last thread about this picture), but this really isn't 'clean' enough to be traditional manga. The colouring needs to be sharp and luminous, whereas yours is a bit smudgy, especially in the hair. The lines also need to be cleaned up a bit.
The bandage around her wrist is flying in the air (the ends of it), but there's no breeze stirring her hair--this doesn't make sense.
Also, no reason has been given for all the blood and self-mutilation--not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case, I think it detracts from the power of the image, and just looks a bit gratuitous.
I believe it's been mentioned, but the pose could also be much more fluid. |
