Here is the finished version. It is my friend's daughter, and this is kinda for fun and kinda for her third birthday. (oh, and her hair truly is growing like a mullet so far)

I wonder if you might have used too much contrast. She appears to be on a beach (?), but the bottom/left 1/3 of the image is almost black. You'd usually be on the beach when it's sunny.  |

for a second there I thought the image failed to come up properly, with the black on the top and all. I like the pic but think it should be placed in work in progress, has the making of a nice piece. |

ergh--- I'm using an HP laptop and everything looks the same to me from other computers, but whenever I make anything on this system, it ends up being darker. Any ideas on how I would go about fixing that? And no, I'm not talking about the gamma settings.
Goonie-- Work in Progress? What areas should I work more on? |
