Hello...this is my first try on drawing a car...I got impressed of scott robertson's arts..they're great!!! No ref. used. PS7, graphire 2. Could you just give my some feedback, and help in coloring...I've still have my inked version..so if coloring goes very wrong, I'll start it again...give my some help, and comments. You are THE MASTERS....!

The design's fairly good, esp for no ref.

You're linework could use a bit of work. Try using a thicker line to emphasise the weight of objects.

For your coloring, the main point is obviously the car, make sure you clean up your edges nice and all that.

The main thing that will help you is to be bolder with your colorwork, the colors are all to clean. when you see a car, or anything else in person, it's not purely one color, there are bits of green reflected from trees, or yellows reflected off the road, a red lightsource hitting it, any number of things that sublty alter the color. Just look for em and you'll start to see the differnt colors.


This is a good start, you've got a whole lot of potential, keep working at it and you'll be a master too ^___^

Heeey. Thanks for your crit dude. I'm at a seaside cafe at a VIKING LINE boat, so I have just 10 minutes left on time...I'll write more later..
