I like it, nice clean colors for easy printing. My only crit: what happened to the rest of the horses stick?

after looking at the pic, i'm changing the face as the current 1 i feel isn't quite right..

I agree with Inspector Lee, I think the stick should appear behind the boy. Or if not, change the perspective of the stick, with the angle it is right now it looks as if the stick is 2-3 feet long, imho.

About the face, I agree with you, he has a somehow bitter expression. Maybe try with a photo where he's smiling? (and apply the way he smiles, I don't mean to change the whole painting).

Anyways, I think it looks very good and would fit nicely in a invitation.

Nice improvement in the face. The softer, more delicate lines work much better since it's a childs face.

yeah i'm not happy with the face :/

but inbetween trying to get my system up and running again after Micro$haft IE 6 ate my system and wont give it back and other work i've not had alot of time to work on it :/

rite time to go home Smile c u in the morning with what i hope is the finished face Smile

well u cant really get a good face like what u have in mind without the adequate shades, u seem to be heading to use as little colours as possible, so u cant really bring out the features or hide features

btw, very nice
