Hey there...
I hope everyone is well..
I've just started an open project.. called Adport..
http://www.adport.org
I'd really like to invite all the artists here to have a look and see if they'd like to design their own site inside a banner. Its gotta be a standard 468 x 60 banner and there are some font resources on the site..
It really doesnt take that long to design one! and I'd love to see what you guys thinks.
Adport is just a browser but the idea is that the sites can eventually be distributed on banner advertising networks..
cheers

And contribute to the masses of "new and exciting advertising mediums" that are destroying the internet? No. Hell no. |

well actually no.. I dont mean to be rude.. I have extreme respect for this dhabih and this wonderful community...
to you I want to say
Firstly : In case you havent noticed, The banner ad "isnt" a new exciting medium!
Secondly... by this project I mean to encourage artists to get back the power of the advertising banner and use it themselves!
To promote their work. instead of a commercial product.
Thirdly: working in a restricted space is a highly creative exercise.
especially when we're used to doing stuff in thousands of pixels by thousands of pixels in painter ..
oh and thanks for your lovely reply _________________ hme of th minmlst visl orgsm! Oculasm.org |

Plus too I think the size of banners is about to increase across the web. Already has at arstechnica. |

I love the way you make the 'already visited' links to become overlined. Never seen that in use before. _________________ http://www.maxon.rules.it |
