Here's a 3D model of a ship. It's not low polycount since my game will be using sprites. And that's not a quake texture..I just used the Symbols font and was looking for a cool logo, and unconciously selected a quake look alike character:p

The hands and the face in the third one could do with some work.
And I'd add backgrounds. Maybe only gradients. That white is too flashy.

Ya, I dig the ship design - I think it's well done. Nice mechanical feel to it. As for the figures I believe you can improve, maybe even hire a model. I know this sounds harsh but I ain't here to make friends, I'm here to help.
