Something completly different for me. Back in school I used to love to draw animals. Don't know why I stopped. So here's the Bassetfish. I used ref for the dog and fish end. C&C is welcomed!

Hey
Thats a totally cool animal style but it is something with the water that makes it look like he is floating in the mountains. Maybe you could add a little more white to the bubbles or tone down the bottom.
Anyway, besides that I love it. :)
Keep it up

I think it needs some depth. Maybe some mountains/rocks in the distance and some of that "noise/dust/dirt" that floats around in the ocean water.
Don't get me wrong though, I think the idea is fresh and the execution to this point is great. _________________ Put a muzzle on her Turkish, before she gets bit. You don't wanna get bit, do you boy? |

I really like your pic its a really cool idea and looks very nice as well, I would have to agree though that the dog/fish seems to look like he is floating rather then swiming, I hope you dont mind but I added a layer ontop with a blue green gradiant to give it more or a merky look I guess, anyhow just an idea .. take care

Thanks so much for the feedback! Much appreciated! When i get back from holidays I will make those changes you all suggested. Proximo, thanks for the overpaint! Overpaints are so helpful! _________________ It's better to have something and not need it, then to need it and not have it. |
