| b12.org, my webhoster, has disappeared. No replies to emails(bounced back), and no replies on their forum, and my emails stopped working. I need to find out their phone # and call them up, but it's not on their website. I know there's a way to find out the registration for their ISP or something, but I can't remember how to do it. Help? |

you could check out their WHOIS info, via register.com
you type in their domain name, click the dot.org toggle.. it will come back with the WHOIS info which typically contains a contact number, address, etc.. I tried it just now and I'm getting a timed out message from register.com
maybe it's a problem on register.coms end, not sure, but you could try it, if not today then maybe tomorrow....
if I think of any other ways of tracking it down, I wil reply again
hope that helps.... all I can say now is keep trying, until register.com is working properly again..
unless there is another way of finding the WHOIS info....

| Someone at eatpoo tracked them down for me. Turned out the owner was on vacation--but that still doesn't explain why no tech-support guys were available. *grumble* |

there are alot of hosting "companies" run by one/few people.
