The question is...is your dear friend the fly, or the cell phone? Cool angle and nice pencil work. |

Ah, the foot. What a difficult subject! Hands and feet give me much trouble. Since I've realized that, I've made sure to put them in every drawing I can so I get lots of practice. You've chosen a difficult angle, but you've pulled it off. I like the toes. Keep it up! |

Hey!
I was drawing my foot last night too, and I have the exact same phone as you. I also had a problem with flies at summer. (be sure to empty your trashes at warm weather.) Nice pic! |

"fukifino", "Drew" and "Noxi" Thnxs for your feedback everybody!
...this is the type of angle from which I see my feet!! (....with slight variations, of course!) Not much of a choise is there??? The choise of angle says its me and so.....my foot is that dear friend of mine!
The cell phone, the fly and the smell of summer - well it seems as if I have cought a lot of friends in this portrait
With this interest for my foot, perhaps its high time to start "Foot Painting Thread" Come on Noxi - show yours!!!
Feet of one of my three sons. NB the angle...

wow Bobuke, its my fav pic from you so far! i like the composition(owe to the very unique perspective)a lot, also i notice you have a great sense of using lines, constructional and with much volume, very high line work quality indeed.
i dont know, just find you dig out the potential ability quite deeper by traditional way... |

Dear "wasssup"...my main struggle was, in the beginning of July when I joined here, to develop skills in digital painting - and I really mean that I was devoted to that ambition.
During theese months I have found out that I have so much to learn - even in other ways. You are so many people here filling me with a deep respect and your ability in creating, what I call, art fills me with desire to struggle more with art and drop skill for a while. My eager to do everything "right" - Whatever that is?? - kills my artistic fingertip feeling. I must get rid of it!! It nearly always make me overwork...
Youre one of my favourites wasssup - you are really free, you work from inside your stomac
I like your colours and lines and I carry a lot of your pictures inside. I like the way you express feelings - oh, that picture where you lie, on your stomac, at the floor. Your legs up your back and still with the feeling that they are nailed to the ground showed by two hands fixed to the floor with tape... like some kind of shadow living a life of its own.
Or the one where you are standing up with your arms over your head...
Well, there are many...
See you around!! _________________ Art has no key - it can always be improved. Therefor your work can never be finished. Take it as a challenge! |

Here goes! It may look crappy but I can assure you its photo realistic. Thats why I thank the foot wear industry so much. They make one of the normal ones.

Nice drawings bobuke! IMO think the phone could have been discarded, but nonetheless a nice drawing. maybe one small detail about the first one is that there seems to be a bone sticking out that shouldn't be there beneath the ankle bone. there may be a protruding part there but it's not that evident(well at least on my feet it isn't . it doesn't disturb the whole though. _________________ talent is overrated. |

Bobuke, that's a very nice drawing you've done there. You've given the drawing a nice illustrative feel, almost like it tells a mini-story.
Good stuff

Please do "Ylla"! It would be very interesting to have this "Reverse" Portrait Thread .
Show us yours! - Start a Foot Thread or perhaps a Hand and Feet Thread and I promise to post mine again in there. I think a lot of people will be inspired to post there - I am sure Drer would have been and many other of the great masters.
"Probustion" good powers of observation - but that bone sticking out - really is - the ankle bone and the shadows above are veins, a tired middleaged womans clearly accentuated veins after a whole day walking around with her son!!!
"LePensky" - I like to hear that story. Please send me a private message - perhaps you are right!! Very nice to hear your opinion of my pictures too - appreciate that! _________________ Art has no key - it can always be improved. Therefor your work can never be finished. Take it as a challenge! |
