Hey, nice work! Effective use of focus on her smile, it really brings warmth to the piece! And.. you're *painting* again! Is this a depatrure from what we've seen from you lately?
One nitpick that i think could use some work is where the neck meets the shirt. It lacks the sense of volume of depth you convey so successfully in her face and head. I want to feel the space between the sweater and the body!

Very nice! I love the new style you've got going. I've been fighting an uphill battle with my own painting style, and it's an inspiration to see how you've evolved in such a short time. |

Amazing work!
I don't like very much the transition between the upper half of the head and the background, though. What happens is not very clear: where is the background, where is the foreground.....

great piece! Great colors and everything!
My only buggy is her cheek. Her left, our right. While I think that the painting style is absolutely gorgeous for the rest of the picture, I don't think it works very well on certain parts of her face. For example, the cheek. The patchy-ness slash strokey-ness makes her skin texture seem uneven... like she's got premature wrinkles or just generally bad complexion.
it's just that one cheek though, otherwise, great job! does she like it? _________________ Ylla's Art Gallery
