has anyone been able to make use of it? i tried to use it for a while but it's pretty akward. one thing that i think would be an improvement is if the cusor on the screen rotated with the pen. i'm running 7 and unless you are making a mark you dont know at what angle the tip is at. is this different in CS? what about in painter? i dont have that either. thanks _________________ ozan

I haven't been able to get tilt to produce any desirable results, but one thing which is worth looking at is using 'direction' for angle. that way the brush always points in the direction your brush is moving. Useful if you make a sort of 'rake' brush.
Oh, I think I recall tilt working with airbrush brushes. That way you tilt the pen and it sort of shoots the paint sideways across the paper, if you know what I mean. |

Sometimes I'll use it in Photopaint for strokes that need to radiate away from something . . . it's not something I rely on very often though. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Can't speak for CS, but in 7, the tilt function is fritzy and works in reverse for the airbrush, with the paint spray directed towards the pen tilt, not away. I still have it on, but don't really notice much difference overall. Painter is far and away more sensitive to my Intuos than PS is in this regard. _________________ Life is short. I use the tilt all the time. Could't work without it, it's just an awesome feature. It's built into a lot of brush variants in Painter, so you don't really need to think about it too hard. After a while you start using it and depend on it, unconsciously, and then you can't live without it.
It's fully customizable in PS CS, so it should work the same way there. At least i think so. _________________ www.mattiassnygg.com
