I know some of Placebo's stuff, haven't rilly gotten into it all that much...yet.
Do ya think the new CD is a good introduction to the band?

As for a starter, I don't know. It would make me interested in their older stuff but they would prob'ly dissapoint me. In my opinion, it sounds like a combo of their past 2 albums that's perfected. Tracks 1-4 seem to be the faster, heavier tracks and 5-13[including hidden track] seem to be more mellow.
It might help you or not..but I read somewhere that the first album is the "at the party" album, the second being "after the party," and the third [black market music] being "back at the party." |
